I’m a science girl at heart. I’ve been waiting for this since it was in the rumor mill. What better to satisfy my scientific curiosity and my TV bug at the same time than Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey? Nothing!
In many sense, this is the bigger and better version of Cosmos: A Personal Voyage because so many award winning people are involved in this. I’m not even talking about Seth MacFarlane. Think Brannon Braga, the writer/director of Star Trek: The Next Generation. Ann Druyan (Brilliant science writer and promoter who happens to be Mrs. Carl Sagan) and Steven Soter are back as the writers from Cosmos: A Personal Voyage. Neil deGrasse Tyson is the icing on the cake as host, but if he’s hitting it off with fame this time, he deserves every last bit of it.
(Okay, I take back my contempt of Seth MacFarlane. He single-handedly bring the show to FOX and National Geographic. After watching an episode, I think it is the best decision ever made for the show.)
Catch Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey on Hulu if you missed it on FOX at 9/8 central.
